Investments

A fund, or investment fund, is a way to invest your money alongside other investors. A number of investors all pool money into the same fund which buys various investments (stocks or bonds, for instance) and all investors in the fund share in the gains (or losses) from those investments. Funds are normally managed by third-party ‘asset managers’ such as BlackRock or Vanguard.
